As a straight bisexual, I didn't understand gender nonconformity for a while. But looking back at history, where third gender can be found in majority of ancient civlisations, I slowly started to get the hang of it.

This, together with listening to trans people sharing their stories and experiences online, really helped me to open my eyes. And on behalf of the feminist community I apologise for those that still fail to give you the respect you deserve.
