By definition, toxic femininity is - just as toxic masculinity - a result of inflexible traditional gender norms. It could be manifested in an unhealthy level of submisiveness, extreme dependence on others or accomodating others at the expense of your own well-being. How common is this form of gendered behaviour, though? And does it exist as a response to toxic masculine behaviour, or independently? To be completely honest with you, I'm not sure, but you definitely gave me an idea for a new piece! Thanks.
