I looked into the ‘research’ they used in that article and I wasn’t surprised to find that they only surveyed a handful of carefully selected people, which makes whatever nonsense them came up with statistically insignificant. In a way I’m not surprised BBC would publish it though, there is a growing anti-trans sentiment here in the UK, mostly led by trans-exclusionary LGB groups. There’s already so much bullying and hate going around, I don’t understand how could anyone think more of it will help anyone. It won’t.
