I'd say women purchase lingerie to feel sexy/beautiful for their partner, but THEY also have to like the look & feel of it.

VS's designs are often very trashy and cheap looking, so it doesn't matter if men find that attractive. If I, as a female consumer, don't like it - I won't be buying it.
