I'm not that familiar with US law, but where I live, the UK, there already have been some attempts to regulate internet porn. Nothing major or extremely invasive, but at least it's becoming a topic of discussion among policymakers.

I don't think it would be wise to ban it altogether; there is nothing wrong with watching it for either educational and entertainment purposes as long as it's porn between consenting adults, of course. And there is indeed more and more porn out there that depicts women in a less misogynistic way.
