It's one thing when women are legally forced to work (Soviet block) or forbidden from participating in the workforce, which was the situation in many Western countries before the sufragettes movement. It's completely another when the stituation stems from a tradition and it doesn't result in inequalities. Men fish, women manage the island. There is no legal obligation for one or the other to engage or not in said activities. What's so hard to comprehend here?
