Majority of their customers were and still are women. So throwing a fashion show that many women will not even want to watch (because of how it portrays women, how dangerously thin they are etc.) it's kind of tone-deaf. This might have worked years ago, but not anymore. Younger generations (Gen Z, Zillenials etc.) just don't buy into it.
