Your entire comment seems to completely disregard the fact that there is a reason why there are so many relationships between older man and very young girls. That reason is societal norms that allow and even glamorize this dynamic. And the very same norms claim 'girls mature faster', while they really don't. We force them to mature faster, to be women when they're still girls. And that, to me, is the whole issue that leads to all sorts of predatory situations, not only questionable age-gap relationships. I've been sexually harassed by 40+ men when I was as young as 12. And most women I know have experienced the same.

By perpetuating the narrative that 'age is just one variable' and we can all just learn from life and our own mistakes when talking about an issue that literally harms kids, you're not exactly helping to dismantle that problem. You're just ignoring it on purpose.
